Our Commitment

Oweo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or any content that endangers minors. We are committed to protecting children and to complying with applicable laws and platform policies.

What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all users and content accessed through Oweo, including:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
• Content that sexualizes minors, including cartoons, AI-generated, or otherwise non-photographic media
• Grooming, coercion, or exploitation of minors
• Requests for sexual content involving minors
• Sexualized discussions or behavior that targets minors
• Promotion, glorification, or normalization of CSAE

Our Role as a Client App

Oweo is a client for Mastodon and other Fediverse platforms. We do not host content and we do not control the moderation policies of independent instances. However, we prohibit the use of Oweo for any CSAE-related activity and will cooperate with instance moderators and law enforcement when appropriate.

Reporting CSAE

If you encounter CSAE-related content while using Oweo, please report it immediately:

• Report the content to your Mastodon instance using its built-in reporting tools
• Email us at hello@oweo.app with details and a link to the content

Response and Enforcement

When we become aware of CSAE, we may take actions including:

• Restricting or terminating access to Oweo for violating accounts
• Coordinating with relevant instance moderators
• Preserving necessary information where legally required
• Reporting to appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable laws

Age Restrictions

Oweo is not intended for children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used Oweo, please contact us so we can assist.
